Where did they come from?
Each of these plays was originally written for the Concept Players Theatre Company. They were originally intended for the stage, but some have been adapated from these originals to be recorded as podcasts (Ripping Off Angels and Big Idea), and as a television screenplay (Sunday League).
As well as these plays, Nigel Holloway has written an adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol set to the music of Arthur Sullivan. You can find more details of this work, entitled A Savoy Christmas Carol, and primarily intended for G&S societies who fancy the challenge of something different, by going to www.xmas-carol.co.uk.
Nigel has also completed his adaptation of John Gay's The Beggar's Opera, again set to the music of Arthur Sullivan. It's called The Savoy Beggar's Opera, and you can find more details on www.beggars-opera.co.uk.
